Dmetri is an Australian essayist, reviewer, speaker, broadcaster, editor and author.

He has written a memoir Mother Land, of growing up on the Turkish/Greek island of Tenedos which he left with his parents when they migrated to Australia in 1971. Dmetri has published many essays, and fantasy stories including The Door, and other Uncanny Tales. His latest book is a gothic novel, The Woman in the Well.
