Andrew Rule has brought the reporting of crimes, catastrophes and miscarriages of justice into our homes for more than 45 years. He is a writer, broadcaster, columnist and podcaster. 

He has written, edited and published more than 30 true-crime books, including the Underbelly series of books which he wrote with John Silvester. In 2001 he was awarded a Gold Walkley; he has twice been recipient of the Graham Perkin Australian Journalist of the Year award. He is an inductee in the Australian Media Hall of Fame. His great passions are crime and sport.
