Marion Stell is a historian who examines the social and cultural history of sport.
A member of Football Australia’s Panel of Historians since 2012, she is the foundation curator of several exhibitions including ‘Sportex’ at the Australian Institute of Sport, plus ‘Eternity’ and Women with Attitude at the National Museum. Her books include: ‘The Bodyline Fix: How Women Saved Cricket’, 'Half the Race: A History of Australian Women and Sport', 'Pam Burridge', 'Girls in Sport: Swimming'; and 'Girls in Sport: Soccer’.
