He has formal botanical training and experience designing private gardens for many well-known household names, in Australia and internationally. He regularly contributes to Your Garden, Gardening Australia magazines and The Age newspaper. His books include ‘Michael McCoy’s Garden’ and ‘The Gardenist’.
