Tracey Holmes is a champion of women in sport and women in journalism. She has had an extensive career, spanning four decades, in television and broadcasting. She is Vice Chancellor Professional Fellow in Sport at the University of Canberra. She has covered every major sporting event, including fourteen Olympic games. 

Tracey has twice won the prestigious International Sports Press Association (AIPS) Gold Award, is a recipient of the IOC Women and Sport Award, and also of Sport Australia’s Lifetime Achievement Award. Tracey is currently a Council member for Indigenous Football Australia. She has always been focused on the study of the intersection of sport, politics, and society.
